A small ref for Vitia's close family

Her family lives on Tae'Nan'Ti, a rocky planet, in which the majority of the inhabitants have magical powers linked to earth, rocks and metals. The people of Tae'Nan'Ti are practical and strong-willed, who value traditions and manual labor. 

-Meadi
Vitia's mom is the actual head of the family. She cares deeply about her husband and children, especially now that they've grown and want to live their own lives. 
While she's sweet and the typical mom most of the times, when the other family members act stupidly or recklessly, she's always ready to pick them by their ears to pull them back on the right track. 


-Cotroe
The family's old man is totally weak to his beloved wife and daughter. He would do anything for them and he works hard to keep their life standard comfortable for them. While he also loves the twins, he wishes they would focus more on becoming reliable men, especially Zeref. He's a blacksmith, owns his own shop and has built their house from zero.


-Zeren
The older twin, even if the one who gives less thoughts to what he does. He doesn't plan his days, he prefers seeing what life throws at him. When they were younger, he was the "calmer" one, even if he didn't pull back from fights and challenges.

-Ution
Younger twin but probably wiser, or at least more sensible. He's following in his father's footsteps, helping out in his shop while also developing his way of working. When they were younger, he was the one always playing with Vitia, running all around their place, often getting bruises and scratches.

-Other notable relatives
Vitia's grandma from her mother's side and grandpa from his dad's side have a special part in her heart. After their respective partner's passed away, they found company in each other and became a powerful duo of grandparents. Vitia often receives small gifts and letters from them. When she and her brothers go visiting them, they are always welcomed with mountains of food. They are the only ones Vitia doesn't mind being spoiled by.

While her mother is an only child, her dad has two brothers. Their family seems to have an abundance of males, since all of her cousins are boys. One of them was a great friend during her childhood, and she might have also had a super secret crush on him, despite never letting it bother her.

Vitia's relationships with her family members

Her grumpiness sometimes clashes against her mother's lovable behavior. They're both stubborn and firm on what they think is right, so it's not rare for them to argue. Even if Vitia acts proudly, she still cherishes some hugs from Meadi. 

Even if Cotroe loves to spoil her, she refuses to be treated like a princess. She wants to be seen mature and have her strength and abilities recognized by him. She loves listening to him when he talks about his job, and although she doesn't have a talent with metal manipulation, she enjoys spending time in her dad's shop. 

Towards the twins Vitia has a love-hate relationship. The classic siblings' bond, where they keep annoying and teasing each other while still caring deeply for the others. When they were kids, they were an unstoppable trio of loud children, always running, playing on the ground and getting back home all dirty. The twins never treated Vitia differently from any other friends they have, so she grew up playing as a boy. Now, Zeref teases his sister all the time, often pissing her off while Ution has a more mature relationship and acts more as a proper big brother.
When they're all at home, they hang out at their father's place or they challenge each other in magic trials. 

Vitia's traditional outfit

On Tae'Nan'Ti the majority of people now wears modern clothes, but traditions are still considered important, especially in smaller towns, like the one Vitia is from. Her traditional outfit for special occasions, such as festivities and such, reflects the practical nature of the people of her planet. There's only one version of it, since the three seasons on her planet aren't that different from each other. Her MT outfit carries some resemblance to this.
